Ng Mui was one of the leading nuns of the Shaolin monastery 300 years ago and is said to be the inventor of this kind of martial art, which today is called Wing Tsun.
As the Shaolin monastery had become too powerful, the emperor’s troops destroyed it and Ng Mui fled to Southern China. There she is said to have come up with the basic structure of her martial art, with the help of Taoistic principles like pliability, impartiality and simplicity.
Today people are doing more Wing Tsun than any other martial art. Wing Tsun has proved its worth not only in the German police, it also gains recognition in the FBI-Hostage Rescue Team, the US-Marine Corps, the US-Airforce and other important institutions.
Wing Tsun has a systematic structure. The ideas behind the techniques, movements and reactions are simple and logical. The Wing Tsun structures are, amongst others, based on mathematical, geometrical and philosophical principles.
Rules that everybody, no matter where in the world, can understand and follow. Wing Tsun is a powerful and holistic martial art and self-defence that is customized to the needs and capabilities of the individual.
